5#CALLS foi 100% gravado e editado no celular e, durante todas as etapas de produção utilizou recursos do próprio aparelho. Os convites e os roteiros foram enviados por SMS para cada uma das atrizes. Os wallpapers do celular foram usados como material gráfico e até mesmo músicas de ring tones sonorizaram essa produção inovadora. A experiência conta ainda com celulares que gravam e transmitem ao vivo pela internet.

Todos os videos já foram gravados e envolvem as atrizes Natália Lage, Amanda Ritcher, Guta Stresser, Graziela Schmitt e Julianne Trevisol.

A atriz Amanda Richter foi a primeira a gravar o projeto. Intitulado “Multi Screen”, sua experiência foi captada por três webcam, dois celulares e transmitido ao vivo, via celular e Twitter. Guta Stresser gravou “Mobile Body” com dois celulares e uma webcam. As câmeras foram conectadas ao corpo da atriz.
Em “Dance Mobile”, a atriz Graziela Schmitt dança com celulares adaptados ao corpo, o video foi gravado na Prainha, no Rio de Janeiro. Por sua vez, “Mobile Circus” foi gravado por Julianne Trevisol, que usou a técnica circense do tecido nessa experimentação mobile, gravando e transmitindo ao vivo sua performance com celulares.
Já a atriz Natalia Lage ganhou a atenção do público ao percorrer o metrô de Copacabana, na Zona Sul do Rio de Janeiro, no horário do rush, com dois celulares adaptados ao corpo.
